It used to run a lot faster, right? All computers need a tune-up once in a while. There are lots of reasons computers start to slow down: fragmented disk drives, unnecessary active services, viruses, and spy-ware are the obvious culprits. But sometimes hardware and software conflicts will put an otherwise healthy PC into a tailspin. We'll perform complete diagnostics on your system and show you how to get it running like new.

Virus and Spyware Removal

If diagnostic testing determines that you've caught a virus or fallen victim to spy-ware installation, we'll get your system up and running again. Often, virus and spy-ware is removed during system diagnostics (above) - these are the easy ones! Unfortunately, a few of these mal-ware programs require extensive therapy requiring hospitalization. These are also the ones that will cause you the most trouble.

Spam solutions

That load of unwanted advertising can be avoided! If you're an Outlook (or other SMTP) user, we offer a variety of effective solutions from simple mail configuration to challange/response proxying. We'll get your problem fixed and your inbox clean!

Windows Re-installation

Occasionally, all the therapy we can provide just won't eliminate the behavioral difficulties in a defiant PC. In these extreme cases, My PC Therapist recommends a complete reinstallation of your Windows operating system and all of your software - a kind of labotomy for your PC. This is an "in-patient" procedure and can take a few days to complete. Your machine will run like new.
