Custom Desktop Application Development

We at My PC Therapist have been developing desktop applications since the PC was invented. Well, almost. Most of our early applications were written for stand-alone PCs in DOS Q-Basic or Visual Basic. The advent of the local area network expanded our development to client-server based systems in which the "server" was most often a database management system.

Today, we develop applications that include a middle tier encompassing the business logic that is accessable from the desktop or web based services. This allows for the reuse of that logic and easy migration from desktop to browser-based application.

We develop these applications using the Microsoft .Net framework written in either Visual Basic .Net or C#.Net.

My PC Therapist is also expert in Oracle and SQL Server database analisys, design, implementation, and administration. Over the years, we've implmented a number of systems using complex stored procedures and triggers written in PL/SQL and T-SQL. We've even devised some unique ways to improve scalability and reliability.
